End-User License Agreement

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") governs your installation and use of Briarheart (the "Game"), licensed to you by Briarheart LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using the Game, you agree to this EULA. This EULA supplements our Terms of Service.

1. License grant

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and run one copy of the Game on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, distribute, rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the Game.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, except to the limited extent applicable law expressly permits.
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Game or its assets.
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks.
  • Use cheats, automation tools, exploits, or unauthorized third-party software to gain an advantage or to interfere with the Game.

3. Ownership

The Game is licensed, not sold. Briarheart LLC and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Game, including all artwork, characters, names, lore, audio, code, and other content, and all intellectual-property rights therein.

4. Virtual items

Any virtual currencies or items obtained in the Game are licensed for use within the Game only, carry no real-world value, and remain our property. See our Terms of Service for details.

5. Updates

We may provide updates, patches, or new versions of the Game. This EULA governs any such updates unless they are accompanied by separate terms.

6. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach any of its terms. On termination, you must stop using and delete all copies of the Game. Sections relating to ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive termination.

7. App-store terms

If you obtained the Game through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to that store's terms. You acknowledge that the store provider is not responsible for the Game and is not a party to this EULA. Where the Apple App Store's standard EULA applies, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Game is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and our liability is limited as described in our Terms of Service, which are incorporated here by reference.
